Aster Aries Might be Disqualified from Dota Pro Circuit
One of the leaders of Dota Pro Circuit China 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division II – Aster.Aries – have violated the league’s rules and might face a disqualification.
As has been spotted by a statsman and analyst Ben "Noxville" Steenhuisen, the team has played all their sixth matches within the league with a stand-in – five series without their midlaner Liu "White丶Album_白学家" Yuhao and one match without their semi-support He "TK" Boyi.
At the same time the DPC rules allow the teams to use stand-ins in up to four of their matches. It remains unknown why the team was allowed to play the fifth match with a replacement and whether they will be disqualified – the organizer of the regional league, Perfect World, have not commented on the issue.
Aster.Aries currently are placed second in the division with a 5-1 score and have high chances to advance to the region’s first division. They have only one match left – on April 20th, 5:00 AM UK time, they will face Sparking Arrow Gaming, who have a 2-1 score. Earlier we reported that Dandelion Esports Club have already secured their place in the first division.
