Team Aster have announced that they will begin competing at The International 10 without their midlaner Liu "White Album" Yuhao, who feels unwell due to COVID-19. The player will be back to the active roster as soon as he starts feeling better. Meanwhile, the team will compete with the team’s assistant Chen "86" Yuxuan, who played Dota 2 competitively between 2015 and 2017.

Earlier Team Aster revealed that all members of their Dota 2 squad, including all five players, their coach and manager, tested positive for COVID-19. Later VALVE allowed them to compete at TI10 from their isolated rooms via internet connection.

Team Aster have been seeded into Group A, where they will compete with OG, EG, IG, T1, Aster, Undying, Thunder, Virtus.pro, and Alliance.
