Blizzard Reveal Dates for Hearthstone World Championship 2021
Blizzard have revealed that this year’s Hearthstone World Championship will be played on December 18th – 19th. The biggest event of the year will feature eight players competing for a $500,000 prize pool. It is expected that the tournament will be played online.
As of now, we already know half of the championship’s line-up – they are the winners of this year’s first regional season, Facundo “Nalguidan” Nahuel Pruzzo (Americas), Wataru “Posesi” Ishibashi (Asia-Pacific), David “Frenetic” Neila Quiñones (Europe), and Huang “KZGXiaobai” Dehui (China).
The second representatives of the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and Europe will be determined on October 10th with the conclusion of Grandmasters 2021 Season 2 in these regions. Meanwhile the second season of the Chinese Gold Series will end in early November.
