DPC 2021 CIS: Gambit to the Major, Empire to Lower Division
The upper division of ESL One CIS Online Season 1 has concluded with two tiebreaker series – first, AS Monaco Gambit defeated Team Spirit in the match for the third place, and then Team Empire lost to Team Unique in the sixth place series .
Thanks to this victory, Gambit have become the final team from the CIS region to qualify for ONE Esports Singapore 2021 – they will start competing in the Wild Card stage. Meanwhile, after losing the tiebreaker Team Empire placed pre-last in the group and thus were relegated to the lower bracket.

As the strongest team of the region, Virtus.pro have advanced directly to the major’s playoffs. Meanwhile, Natus Vincere and AS Monaco Gambit will play in the group stage and in the Wild Card stage, respectively.
ONE Esports Singapore 2021 is the first major event of the season and is scheduled for March 27th – April 4th. The event will feature 18 teams competing for a $500,000 prize pool.
