Draken Returns to CS:GO After A Year in VALORANT
26-years-old Swedish player William "draken" Sundin has returned to CS:GO to play for a Swedish team Savage. For more than a year, the player has been competing in VALORANT.
Draken started his CS:GO career in 2015 and is mostly known for his time in Ninjas in Pyjamas (2017 – 2018; 2019) and Fnatic (2018). In early 2020 he decided to switch to VALORANT, where he played for a British organization Guild Esports. During this time, the team’s biggest accomplishment was their 3rd – 4th place at VCT 2021: Europe Stage 1 Masters.
Besides draken, Savage currently also features another former NiP and Fnatic player Simon "twist" Eliasson, two former Nigma Galaxy players Adam "dezon" Wahlqvist and Niclas "PlesseN" Plessen, as well as Denis "grux" Gutaj, who earlier this year played for North and MANS NOT HOT. Currently they compete at Pinnacle Winter Series #1 and have already outplayed MASONIC with a 2:0 score.
