F0rest to Stand in for Fnatic

Fnatic have announced that 33 years-old Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg will once again represent their CS:GO team, 12 years after he left the organization – the player was part of the club between 2006 and 2010 during the 1.6 days.

This time the player joins the team as a stand-in – he will help the team at the upcoming Pinnacle Cup Championship with $250,000 at stake, which will be held on June 8th – 11th in a Swedish city of Lund. There the team will compete in Group A alongside BIG, Heroic and MIBR.

F0rest, who is mostly known for his eight years in Ninjas in Pyjamas (2012 – 2020), spent the previous two years by competing for Dignitas. Last month however the organization benched and listed all their line-up for transfer due to a long period of disappointing results.

Fnatic have been struggling to form a stable roster for over a year now. Earlier in May the organization benched Alexander "ALEX" McMeekin and Valentin "poizon" Vasilev, as well as sent Iulian "regali" Harjău back to their academy. Later on June 1st they acquired Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjid and Fredrik "roeJ" Jørgensen from Copenhagen Flames, leaving one spot vacant.

Fnatic:

  • Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson
  • William "mezii" Merriman (captain)
  • Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjid
  • Fredrik "roeJ" Jørgensen
  • Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg (stand-in)
  • Jamie "keita" Hall (coach)
