Fear to Coach Thunder Predator at TI10
Fear to Coach Thunder Predator at TI10
33-years-old Clinton "Fear" Loomis has revealed that he will coach the Peruvian team Thunder Predator at the upcoming The International 10. Although the team did not participate in the latest major, they managed to acquire enough DPC points to be directly invited to the TI.
Fear has spent this year playing for SADBOYS in the upper bracket of Dota Pro Circuit in North America. The team failed to qualify for any of the majors and did not get enough points to be invited to The International 10. Last month he decided to leave the team and said that he was open to coach an upper division team. This is the third time Fear switches to coaching – earlier he coached Evil Geniuses in 2016 – 2017 and in 2014.
Thunder Predator were lucky enough to be invited to The International 10 even though they failed to qualify for the recent WePlay AniMajor – the team placed 2nd and 3rd in the first and second regular seasons, as well as finished 5-6th at ONE Esports Singapore Major. Thus, they managed to acquire 800 DPC points, which following the conclusion of WePlay AniMajor turned out to be just enough to qualify for The International 10.
