Fer to Play for Imperial Esports
In the near future the Brazilian team Imperial Esports will be competing with Fernando "fer" Alvarenga. The player joined the team as a stand-in to replace Guilherme "piria" Barbosa, who was benched earlier this week due to a potential VAC-ban of one of his accounts.
29-years-old Brazilian player Fer has been mostly inactive since last September, when he was benched by MIBR following a number of disappointing results. In December he stood in for BOOM Esports and helped them to win FiReLEAGUE 2020: Global Finals, however later decided against joining the team. Later the roster was signed by MIBR.
Fer has already arrived to the team’s bootcamp in Monterrey, Mexico. This weekend, and potentially the next one, the team will play in the open qualifier for the region’s RMR-event cs_summit 8. In a month they will also compete at IEM Summer 2021 as the winners of DreamHack Open March South America.
