Fnatic to Start ESL Pro League 15 with Two Replacements

Fnatic have announced that they will start ESL Pro League 15 with two stand-ins. The team’s longstanding member Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson has been tested positive for COVID-19 and thus could not travel to the events location, Dusseldorf. Their line-up also misses 19-years-old Iulian "regali" Harjău, who was promoted from the academy team just a month ago.

To fill in the roster, the organization recruited Valentin "poizon" Vasilev and Matias 'Banjo' Kivistö. 23-years-old Bulgarian poison is a former Complexity player and was filed as the team’s official replacement for the event. Meanwhile Banjo is a 17-years-old Finnish member of the team’s academy roster. Thus, Fnatic line-up now features two players of Fnatic Rising – earlier the team also benched Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin in favour of 19-years-old Peppe "Peppzor" Borak.

Fnatic will debut at EPL 15 later today – within Group A, they will first face Ninjas in Pyjamas. The series is scheduled to start on 6:30 PM UK time.
