Forev Takes a Break from Dota
Lee "Forev" Sang-don has decided to take a break from professional Dota 2. He will miss the first DPC season and instead focus on his personal issues, including his business.
29-years-old Korean offlaner Forev is mainly known for his time in MVP Phoenix (2013-2016) and Digital Chaos (2017). He has spent the entire previous season with T1 without much success. This season the player joined a mix called HOYO, which also includes Galvin "Meracle" Kang Jian Wen, Poomipat "Fearless" Trisiripanit, Tri "Jhocam" Kuncoro, and Anurat "boombell" Praianun.
The team managed to win the first open qualifier for Dota Pro Circuit 2021: SEA Season 1, and later placed 3rd – 4th in the closed qualifier, which secured them a place in the region’s second division. Currently the team is placed 4th with the 1-2 score. According to DPC rules, a team can play with a stand-in only in four matches – currently HOYO have only three series ahead of them. In case the team will have to play in tiebreakers, Forev is ready to participate in them.
