FPX Esports Win Snow Sweet Snow 1
FPX Esports have become the champions of Snow Sweet Snow #1. In the tournament’s grand finals they outplayed Gambit Esports and claimed $40,000 in prize money.
Both finalists were invited directly to the quarterfinals. On their way to the grand finals FulPlus Phoenix defeated forze (2-1) and SAW (2-0), while Gambit Esports outplayed GODSENT (2-0) and Virtus.pro (2-1). The final series concluded with the 2-1 score, with Gambit having an upper hand at Overpass (16:10), and FPX emerging victorious at Inferno (16:14) and Dust II (16:9).

The Chinese organization FPX returned to CS:GO this January by signing four former GODSENT players and bringing in Chris "chrisJ" de Jong on loan from mousesports. Since then the team managed to place second at DreamHack Open January 2021: Europe.
Snow Sweet Snow #1 was held online from January 18th to February 10th, featuring 44 teams from Europe competing for a $100,000 prize pool. The second edition of the event will follow the same format and is scheduled for February 15th – March 10th.
