FURIA Failed to Bring in Coldzera, He Is Reported to Join Complexity
A co-owner of FURIA Esports Andre Akkari has revealed that his organization has been negotiating with Marcelo "coldzera" David, however the sides failed to reach an agreement. Meanwhile multiple news outlets report that the player will join Complexity after their run at ESL Pro League 14.
26-years-old Brazilian player Marcelo "coldzera" David has been inactive since June, when he left FaZe Clan’s active roster due to disappointing results. The player’s contract with the organization expires by the end of September.
Complexity are currently participating in EPL 14 with a stand-in – the team’s member Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke took a medical leave in August due to a wrist injury, and is currently temporarily replaced by Niels Christian "NaToSaphiX" Sillassen. The team managed to place third in Group B and is expected to face Team Vitality in their first playoffs series, which is scheduled for September 7th, 6:15 PM UK time.
Should Coldzera join Complexity, he will debut with the team at BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2021, which is scheduled for September 16th – 26th. Earlier k0nfig revealed that the cast on his hand will be removed on September 15th. Beyond that point, he will have to undergo a rehabilitation.
