Gla1ve Returns to Astralis Active Roster ahead of PGL Stockholm Major

The defending champions Astralis have announced their line-up for the upcoming PGL Stockholm Major 2021. The team’s captain Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander has returned to the active roster after a one-month hiatus. To make space for him, the organization decided to bench the team’s newest member Philip "Lucky" Ewald.

Earlier in July Gla1ve extended his contract with the organization for another three years. In August the organization signed a 18-years-old player Philip "Lucky" Ewald. The young player replaced Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth at ESL Pro League 14, as the latter expressed his desire to join another team or form a new one.

Due to becoming a father, last month gla1ve went inactive, while Xyp9x returned to the active roster. With this roster, the team placed 4th – 6th at BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2021 and finished 4th at the RMR-event IEM XVI – Fall: Europe. Due to their fourth place in the Regional Major Rankings, they will start competing at the upcoming PGL Major Stockholm 2021 in its New Challengers Stage.
