Gla1ve to Miss BLAST Premier Fall Groups, Replaced by Xyp9x

Astralis’ captain Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander will not participate in the upcoming BLAST Premier: Fall Groups. The team will compete there with Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth.

26-years-old gla1ve, who recently extended his contract with Astralis for another three years, is expecting to become a father soon. For this reason, he decided to step down from the active roster. However, he is still helping the team to prepare for the upcoming event.

While gla1ve will on his leave, the team will compete with Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth. Although he is still officially a member of the team’s active roster, he did not participate in the ongoing ESL Pro League 14. Instead, the team played there with 18-years-old Philip "Lucky" Ewald, who joined the team in July as a sixth member. There the team failed to make it out of the group stage, placing 4th in Group A with a 2-3 score. Meanwhile Xyp9x is negotiating his future with Astralis amidst the upcoming expiration of his contract – he considers either creating a new team or joining an existing one.
