Group Stage of D2CL 6 to End with a Three-Way Tie

The group stage of Dota 2 Champions League 2021 Season was supposed to end yesterday, however it will instead conclude later today with a three-way tie between Brame, Nemiga and V-Gaming, who all finished with 5-3 scores.

The only two teams who already qualified for the playoffs stage are CIS Rejects, which includes former Virtus.pro players RAMZES666, 9pasha and RodjER, as well as a Kyrgyz team HYDRA led by another former “bear” Zayac. These teams finished the stage with 8-0 and 6-2 scores respectively.

The tiebreakers will start today on 12:00 PM UK time with a match between Nemiga and V-Gaming. All series will best-of-one. One of these teams will not make it to the playoffs.

D2CL 2021 Season 6 is an online event with $50,000 at stake. Its playoffs stage will be played on January 4th – 12th, featuring eight teams in a double-elimination bracket. Besides best four teams of the group stage, it will also feature four directly invited teams, among which are HellRaisers, Entity, Team Tickles, Coolguys.
