According to the results of the first day of the Main Event, 4 teams who left the tournament were determined. The matches of the first round of the lower bracket playoffs were played in a best-of-1 format.
Hokori lost to beastcoast, Team Spirit was beaten by BOOM Esports, Gaimin Gladiators defeated Fnatic, and Royal Never Give Up lost to Entity in a nearly two-hour match.
In the top bracket, Thunder Awaken beat Evil Geniuses, and Team Secret won against PSG.LGD. Both matches ended with a score of 2-0.
The playoffs will continue on October 21.
