Iceberg Joins Empire in the Middle of the DPC Season
Team Empire have replaced their midlaner in the middle of the DPC-season. Following the disappointing first results in the league, the organization decided to bench 22-years-old Sergiy "Shisui" Koren, who joined the team just a month ago.
The team’s new position-2 player is Bogdan "Iceberg" Vasilenko, a 24-years-old player from Ukraine. Previously he competed for FlyToMoon, which was signed by Natus Vincere in late 2020. While representing the organization, he helped the team to win OGA Dota Pit 4, as well as place 2nd in ESL One CIS 1 Upper Division. The team however failed to secure an invite to The International and Iceberg was replaced by Vladimir "No[o]ne" Minenko. Since then Iceberg has been inactive.
Team Empire completely changed their Dota 2 roster before the start of the season. The members of the team were chosen by 27-years-old offlaner Andrii "Ghostik" Kadyk. The team started the season by losing to Gambit Esports (0-2) and Natus Vincere (1-2). Earlier today the team debuted with their new midlaner against Team Spirit, losing the series 2-0.
