IEM Fall to be Played on the Latest Update

ESL have confirmed that the upcoming IEM Fall 2021 will be run on the latest update for CS:GO. Thus, many teams will have only about a week to adjust their tactics to the latest balance changes.

Earlier this week VALVE released Operation Riptide. Besides the operation content, the update introduced several significant balance changes: the developers reduced Deagle damage to body and increased M4A1-S body damage, as well as made it impossible to see middle gate from the T base at Dust II.

IEM Fall 2021 is the final RMR-event before the Stockholm Major that will be played in all six majors – Europe, South America, CIS and Oceania will start on September 29th, while the Asian and North American divisions are scheduled to start on October 5th.
