Illuminar Bench All CS:GO Players, Including Snax
The Polish esports organization Illuminar Gaming has decided to bench their entire CS:GO roster, including former Virtus.pro players Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski, Arek "Vegi" Nawojski and Tomasz "phr" Wójcik, as well as former members of x-kom Team Paweł "reatz" Jańczak and Michał "mono" Gabszewicz.
In the official announcement the organization’s Chief Gaming Officer Mateusz Kowalczyk states that they consider this year a success, however they have failed to find an optimal combination of players. For this reason, they are going to restructure the roster and have decided to bench all players. The organization has not finalized its plans considering the roster and they do not know who will stay and who will leave. The news are expected to be revealed after the holidays.
Illuminar Gaming are currently ranked #19 in Europe and #1 in Poland, per hltv. This season they managed to win Eden Arena: Malta Vibes 3 and ESL Mistrzostwa Polski – Fall 2020, as well as placed 3rd-4th at DreamHack Open November 2020.
