Karrigan Rejoins FaZe to Replace Olofmeister

Following the conclusion of BLAST Premier 2021 Spring Groups, FaZe Clan have announced the changes in their roster – Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer Gustafsson steps down from the active roster and replaced by Finn "karrigan" Andersen.

Karrigan has been transferred from mousesports, which he joined in middle 2019 – with them he won multiple events, the most prominent of which were CS:GO Asia Championship 2019 and ESL Pro League Season 10 – Finals, both held in 2019. However the previous season was not so successful for the team, so Karrigan decided against prolonging his contract with the organization and last week was replaced by former Renegades player Christopher "dexter" Nong.

Olofmeister has been part of FaZe Clan since 2017. Last May he took a break from competitions and in October returned as a stand-in to replace Nikola "NiKo" Kovač. Lately there were talks that Olofmeister was going to retire after leaving FaZe, however the player has not confirmed this information and promised to share his plans for the future soon.

This weekend FaZe Clan placed second in Group C at BLAST Premier: Spring 2021, securing their place in the league’s seasonal finals. Later this week the team will compete at IEM Katowice 2021, a $1,000,000 event scheduled for February 16th – 28th. FaZe will compete in Group B alongside Vitality, FURIA and NAVI.

FaZe Clan:

  • Håvard "rain" Nygaard
  • Marcelo "coldzera" David
  • Helvijs "broky" Saukants
  • Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken
  • Finn "karrigan" Andersen
