MIBR and FURIA are the First to Qualify for PGL Major Antwerp

Following the first three rounds of PGL Major Antwerp 2022: American RMR, MIBR and FURIA Esports have secured their places at the major. Both Brazilian teams won three matches in a row.

In the first three rounds, FURIA defeated Leviatan (16:4), Isurus (16:4) and Complexity (2-0), while MIBR outplayed 9z (16:13), paiN (25:23) and Imperial (2-1). Now the teams will face each other in the first place tiebreaker, which is scheduled for April 14th, 10:00 AM UK time. The winner will qualify to the major’s Legends Stage, while the loser will play in the Challengers Stage.

• 0-3 – Leviatan, BNB

The American RMR is the first regional competition and will conclude this Friday, on April 15th. Only one team will qualify for the Legends Stage, while the teams placed 2nd to 6th will advance to the Challengers Stage. The other RMR-events will be played in the coming weeks – the Asia-Pacific one is scheduled for April 15th – 16th, while the two European competitions will be held on April 17th – 20th and 21st – 24th.

PGL Major Antwerp 2022 will be played on May 9th – 22nd in Antwerp, Belgium. The final stage of the $1,000,000 event will be held with live audience at Antwerps Sportpaleis.
