MIBR’s Boltz to Miss BLAST Premier Fall Groups

MIBR have announced that they will compete at the upcoming BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2021 with a replacement. Ricardo "boltz" Prass has been tested positive for COVID-19 and will not be able to travel to Europe with the team. He will be temporarily replaced by a 18-years-old member of their academy team, Breno "brnz4n" Poletto

24-years-old boltz, who has been playing for MIBR since this January, was hospitalized for one day and is currently back home, recovering in self-isolation. The team is set to travel to Europe this Thursday, which is not enough time for boltz to recover. However, the team expects that he will be back to the active roster in time for the next RMR-event, IEM XVI – Fall, which is scheduled for September 29th – October 3rd.

BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2021 will be played from September 16th to 26th. There MIBR will compete in Group B alongside G2, NiP and BIG. Besides $150,000 on the line, the event will also determine who will advance directly to the league’s Fall Finals, and who will compete in the Showdown stage.
