MSS Replaces Nightfall in EG for the Remainder of the DPC Season
Evil Geniuses have announced a temporary change in their Dota 2 roster – in the remaining matches of DPC Tour 1 they will compete with Arif "MSS" Anwar instead of Egor "Nightfall" Grigorenko. The change is explained by “challenges stemming from travel and logistics”. It is expected that the Russian player Nightfall will return to the roster following the conclusion of the current DPC season.
After four weeks of competition within the first division of the North American Dota Pro Circuit, EG currently have a 3-2 score. While they defeated outsiders of the group 4 Zoomers (2-0), simply TOOBASED (2-0), and Arkosh Gaming (2-0), the team lost to Black N Yellow (1-2) and Wildcard Gaming (0-2). Thus, in the final two weeks they will face the leaders of the group – Team Undying (January 12th) and Quincy Crew (January 19th).
Nightfall is a 19-years-old Russian player who joined EG during the last transfer period from Virtus.pro. Meanwhile 26-years-old American player MSS has been inactive since the end of 2021, when he left Quincy Crew.
