OG Defeat BIG to Win Spring Sweet Spring 2

The second iteration of Spring Sweet Spring has concluded with a victory of OG. In the tournament’s grand final they managed to take down BIG with a 2-1 score. The champions of the event received $40,000 in prize money and an invitation to LAN Sweet LAN.

Both OG and BIG started the event in the quarterfinals. On their way to the grand finals OG defeated 1win (2-0) and Team Fiend (2-0), while BIG outplayed Wisla Krakow (2-0) and Entropiq (2-0). In the grand finals OG lost their pick, Nuke (13:16), however emerged victorious at Dust II (16:14) and Mirage (16:9).

OG are the fifth team to qualify for LAN Sweet LAN, a $250,000 event announced in April and scheduled to take place in next year’s February. Earlier their places at the event secured FunPlus Phoenix, HAVU Gaming, mousesports and forZe.
