Petushara Leaves Empire to Replace Ghostik in Unique

Team Unique have announced their updated Dota 2 roster. The team parted ways with Nikita "Palantimos" Grinkevich and Andrii "Ghostik" Kadyk, replacing them with Artem "space" Golubiev and Uladzislau "Petushara" Kazlouski respectively.

Space is a young Ukrainian carry player who is new to the professional scene – the player has been scouted by the organization thanks to his 28th place in the European MMR rating. Meanwhile Petushara has been transferred to Unique from Team Empire, with whom he recently placed 2nd in the Eastern European qualifier for The International 10.

Petushara explained that it was his own decision to change his team, despite Team Empire wanting to save the roster. He revealed that over the last nine months Team Empire wanted to replace him three times – even this qualifier the team was supposed to play with another offlaner, Maxim "Shachlo" Abramovskikh, however he was unable to participate in it due to a broken arm. Team Empire’s esports director Alexander StrangeR Solomonov confirmed that the rest of the players stay in the team.

Unique’s updated roster will debut later today at Dota 2 Champions League 2021 Season 2. The team’s first match at the event, where they will face HellBear Smashers, is scheduled for 7:00 PM UK time.
