PPD Leaves Alliance Following a Short Trial Period
Peter "ppd" Dager has revealed through Twitter that he is no longer coaching Alliance. While he is still interested in this role and wants to try it again in the future, now he will return to streaming.
PPD joined the team in early May on a trial basis, to help the team finish the second DPC season. The team managed to win the regular season, securing their place in the major’s playoffs. There, however, the team did not manage to win a single match, losing to PSG.LGD (0-2) and Team Spirit (1-2). Despite this result, the team still has enough DPC points to be directly invited to The International 10.
Currently Alliance are competing at ESL ONE Summer 2021. The team managed to defeat Team Unique (2-0) and Team Secret (2-0) in the first two rounds of the upper bracket. Next they will face Virtus.pro; the match is scheduled for June 18th, 1:00 PM UK time.
