PSG Talon have confirmed that their botlaner Wong "Unified" Chun Kit will be able to participate in 2021 World Championship, where they will play thanks to winning PCS Summer 2021.

22-years-old Hong Kong player Unified has been playing for PSG Talon since summer 2020. The player suffers from pneumothorax, an abnormal collection of air between the lung and the chest wall. This condition prevented him from participating in Mid-Season Invitational 2021, as his doctors did not allow him to fly to Iceland. However, since then his condition has improved and he will be able to travel with the team to Europe.

This season has been extremely successful for PSG Talon, who managed to win both the spring and the summer splits of PCS 2021. Despite playing with a stand-in at MSI 2021, the team finished 3rd – 4th there. Now they are set to participate in the group stage of 2021 World Championship.

Earlier last week RIOT Games revealed that this year’s World Championship will be played somewhere in Europe. While it is not confirmed, the event supposedly will take place in Iceland, just as MSI 2021 this May.
