Renegades Receive the Only Invite to EPIC League Oceania

The Russian Esports Federation, the organizer of the next RMR-event for Oceania EPIC League 2021, has announced that only team received a direct invite to the event – they are Renegades. The rest of the participants will be determined through open qualifiers.

Renegades is the only team in the region that retained RMR-points from last year and are the winners of the previous local RMR-event, ESL One Road to Rio. The team, which is undoubtedly the strongest in their region, struggles at the international level – this season they competed at IEM XV – World Championship and ESL Pro League 13, placing 17-20th at both events.

EPIC Oceania League Spring 2021 is scheduled for May 24th – May 30th and will feature eight teams competing for a $10,000 prize pool and RMR-points. The event will be preceded by two open qualifiers that will be played on May 23rd via the FACEIT platform.
