Resolut1on to Miss the Next DPC Season
Resolut1on to Miss the Next DPC Season
Former HellRaisers player Roman "Resolut1on" Fomynok has announced that he will not participate in the next season of Dota Pro Circuit, citing burnout and multiple unsatisfactory results. Instead, he will take a break, focus on everyday life and consider what to do in the future.
Resolut1on is a 25-years-old Ukrainian player who started playing Dota 2 professionally in 2013. He started the career in his home CIS region and played for Team Empire for three years, however in 2016 became one of the region’s first players to move to North America. His most successful team was Digital Chaos, with them he managed to place 2nd at The International 2016.
Later however he returned to the CIS scene and has spent this year playing for HellRaisers. The team failed to make it to the region’s Upper Division and competed in the lower one, placing 3rd in the first season and winning the second season. Later they failed to qualify for The International 10, losing to Team Empire in the qualifier’s lower finale.
Over the last month, HellRaisers have parted ways with all members of their Dota 2 roster. The organization’s plans for the future remain unknown.
