Solo’s Dota Team Disbands after a Disappointing Run at EPIC League 3
Members of Dota Team, a mix featuring former Virtus.pro players Alexey "Solo" Berezin and Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev, will not continue playing together. The team has disbanded after a disappointing performance at the ongoing EPIC League 3.
The team was formed just few weeks ago to participate in EPIC League 3, where they replaced Solo’s previous team NoTechies. Besides Solo and RAMZES666, the line-up also included Rostislav "fn" Lozovoi, Abdimalik "Malik" Sajlau and Milan "MiLAN" Kozomara.
At the event, Dota Team lost two series in a row – first, they were defeated by Brame (1-2) in the upper bracket, and then were outplayed by HellRaisers (0-2). Thus they shared the last 7-8th place with WinStrike, getting $6,000 in prize money.
EPIC League 3 will continue today with the second round of the lower bracket – first, Tundra Esports will take on HellRaisers (4:00 PM UK time), and then Brame will compete with High Coast Esports (7:00 PM). The bracket looks as follows:
