T1 Announce that Kuku will be Replaced by Forev at the Singapore Major

T1 have revealed that the captain of their Dota 2 roster Carlo "Kuku" Palad will not be able to participate in the upcoming Singapore Major due to an illness. He will be temporarily replaced by Lee "Forev" Sang-don.

29-years-old Korean player Forev seems to be a perfect replacement, as he is also an offlaner and an experienced in-game leader. Even more – Forev was the first player signed by T1 after the Korean organization had opened their Dota 2 division. The player left the team last July and after a series of disappointing results with other teams decided to take a break from the competitive Dota 2 scene.

Earlier last month T1 placed third in DPC’s upper division in Southeast Asia, thus advancing to the major’s Wild Card stage. The stage will be played this weekend and will feature six teams – Liquid, Nigma, Gambit, PSG.LGD, Vici Gaming, T1 – competing for two places in the group stage. Earlier a number of other participants of the major, including NAVI, Nigma and Quincy Crew, announced that some of their placers got COVID-19 and will not participate in the event. However T1 have not specified whether Kuku is ill with the coronavirus or has some other health issues.
