T1 Release JaCkky Shortly after Qualifying for the Major

T1 have announced that Souliya "JaCkky" Khoomphetsavong is no longer part of their Dota 2 roster – the announcement comes shortly after the team qualified for the upcoming major.

JaCkky is a carry player from Laos, who joined T1 last November. After joining the team, the player helped them to place 3rd at BTS Pro Series 4: SEA. The team was one of those who received a direct invite to the upper division of DPC 2021 Season 1: SEA – there they finished with a 5-2 score, sharing the second place with Neon Esports. After losing to in the tiebreakers for the 2nd place, T1 advanced to the major’s Wild Card stage.

According to DPC rules, T1 will lose 20% of the points they have earned during the first season, and will get 20% less points for their placement at the major.
