Tarik Considers Switching to VALORANT

Former Evil Geniuses player Tarik "tarik" Celik has announced that currently his options are limited to either focus on streaming or switch to competitive VALORANT. For now, the player will try streaming and will stick to it if he finds it enjoyable.

In his Twitter-post the player explained that currently there is “not much choice” in the North American region, while moving to Europe “isn’t in the cards”. Since the beginning of the pandemic, most prominent CS:GO events have been happening in Europe, with all top teams, including American ones, training and competing on the Old Continent.

Few weeks ago Tarik decided to step down from EG’s active roster due to disappointing results and was replaced by a Polish player Michał "MICHU" Müller. The player resumed streaming just few days ago, playing both CS:GO and VALORANT.

25-years-old Tarik has been professionally playing CS:GO since 2014. In 2018 he became the champion of ELEAGUE Major: Boston with Cloud9. For the last two years he has been part of Evil Geniuses; with them he won StarSeries i-League CS:GO Season 8 and BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 American Finals.
