Team Aster Allowed to TI10’s Venue

Team Aster have announced that all members of their Dota 2 team tested negative for COVID-19 for the second time in a row. Thus, they have been allowed to attend The International 10’s venue, Arena Naţională in Bucharest.

Shortly before the event, all members of Team Aster, including their players, manager and coach, tested positive for COVID-19. For this reason, the team participated in the Group Stage from isolation in their hotel rooms. The team’s midlaner Liu "White Album" Yuhao did not feel well and thus missed the beginning of the group stage.

Competing in Group A, Team Aster managed to outplay OG and Thunder Predator, played in draw with Alliance and lost to EG, IG, T1 and VP. This result game them the seventh place in the group, which allowed them to advance to the playoffs lower bracket. Initially the team was allowed to play in the playoffs remotely from their rooms.

In the first round of the lower bracket Team Aster will face Quincy Crew in a best-of-one series, the loser of which will be eliminated from the event. While the match is scheduled for today, 4:00 PM UK time, currently TI10 matches are way behind the schedule.
