The Russian Dota 2 squad Team Spirit has decided to bench Vitaly "so bad" Oshmankevich. In the upcoming matches, the team will play with Miroslaw "Miroslaw" Kolpakov.
so bad is a 25-years-old support player from Belarus. He joined the team, which was initially called Yellow Submarine and later signed by Team Spirit, last summer. Being the team’s in-game leader, he managed to lead the squad to the 3rd – 4th place at DOTA Summit 13 and to the first place at BTS Pro Series: Season 4.
Team Spirit was one of the four teams invited to the upper division of ESL One CIS DPC 2021 Season 1. Currently the team is placed 3rd with a 2-2 score – they defeated Live to Win (2-1) and EXTREMUM (2-0), but lost to Team Empire (1-2) and NoTechies (1-2). The team’s next match is scheduled for February 14, they will face the tournament favourites Virtus.pro.
The team’s manager Dmitriy Korb3n Belov explained that the squad found itself in a tough situation after losing to two “outsiders”. According to his statement, the team had an unresolved issue, experiencing problems with both drafts and in-game cooperation. The team will continue competing in the DPC event with a Ukrainian player Miroslaw, who earlier played for Cascade Esports.
