Team Spirit Win the First Season of Dota 2 Champions League 2021
The first season of Dota 2 Champions League 2021 has concluded with Team Spirit outplaying Vikin.gg in its final series. The winners have claimed $10,000 in prize money, while the runner-ups received $5,000.
Both Spirit and Vikin.gg were among four teams invited directly to the playoffs. On their way to the grand finals Spirit defeated Team Unique (2-0) and High Coast Esports (2-1), while Vikin.gg managed to beat 2-0 both Team Empire and Brame. The final match concluded with a 2-0 score.

Dota 2 Champions League 2021 Season 1 was played online from April 5th – 12th, featuring a $25,000 prize pool. Earlier Epic Esports Events revealed that this year they would host five D2CL events.
