The Russian esports organization Team Unique has returned to the Dota 2 scene by signing NoPangolier, a team led by a former Cyber Legacy and Natus Vincere captain Semion "CemaTheSlayer" Krivulya.

The team also includes former Cyber Legacy players Nikita "Palantimos" Grinkevich, Yaroslav "Pikachu" Vasilenko, and Danil "Bignum" Shekhovtsov. The final member of the team is Andrii "Ghostik" Kadyk, who earlier played for B8 Esports.

The team was formed before the renewal of the Dota Pro Circuit and was invited to the close qualifiers, where they placed 3rd-4th after defeating HellRaisers (2-0), losing to Team Empire (0-2) and outplaying Winstrike Team (2-1), thus securing their place in the second division of ESL One CIS Online DPC Season 1.

The 2021 DPC season kicks off later today. Its lower division will feature eight teams competing for a $75,000 prize pool and two places in the second season’s upper division. Besides Team Unique, the line-up includes B8, Winstrike, HellRaisers, Gambit, PuckChamp, Imperial Pro Gaming, VP.Prodigy and XactJIepbI.
