Team Vitality Part Ways with Kyojin
The French organization Team Vitality has announced that Jayson "Kyojin" Nguyen Van is no longer part of the organization. The player has been on the team’s bench since last month and currently competes for a mix Akimbo alongside some of former LDLC players.
Kyojin is a 22-years-old player from France, who joined Team Vitality a year ago. Despite their disappointing starting results, later in the year the team managed to qualify for PGL Major Stockholm, where they made it to the playoffs and finished 5th – 8th, and emerged victorious at IEM XVI – Winter and placed 3rd at BLAST Premier: World Final 2021.
Despite promising results, last month the team significantly changed their roster and made it international by signing former Astralis members Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen, Emil "Magisk" Reif and Danny "zonic" Sørensen. Since then the team has already won BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2022 and is now set to compete at IEM Katowice 2022, where they will play in Group A alongside Heroic, Virtus.pro, Virtus.pro and Gambit Esports.
