Tundra Extend Contracts with Dota 2 Players until 2024
The British organization Tundra Esports has announced that they signed a long-term contract with their Dota 2 roster until 2024. The organization says that it has always been their vision to develop this roster long-term. This week the team will travel to their bootcamp to prepare for the upcoming season of Dota Pro Circuit.
Tundra Esports entered the Dota 2 scene this January by signing a European team mudgolems, which is led by a 28-years-old German player Adrian "Fata" Trinks. During this time, the team made only one change in their roster – when Malthe "Biver" Winther decided to retire in April, the team brought in Jingjun "Sneyking" Wu.
This year the team competed in the Upper Division of the European Dota Pro Circuit – there they placed 6th in the first season and 5th in the second season. The team managed to advance to the grand finals of the qualifier for The International 10, where they faced OG. While at some point Tundra had a 2-1 lead, the team lost the series with a 2-3 score. Despite such a devastating loss, the team did not disband and even managed to win ESL One Fall 2021. There in grand finals they outplayed future TI10 runner-ups PSG.LGD.
