Twistzz Leaves Liquid, Reportedly Replaced by Fallen
Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken has announced that he is going to leave Team Liquid. The announcement has been made during the stream of IEM XV – Global Challenge, in grand finals of which his team lost to Astralis. Various sources report that he might be replaced by Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo.
Twistzz is a 21-years-old Canadian player, who has been part of Team Liquid since 2017. With them he emerged victorious at a number of premier events, including ESL Pro League 9 Finals, IEM XIV – Chicago, and ESL One Cologne, as well as won the second season of Intel Grand Slam. Commenting on his departure from the team, Twistzz hinted that he would continue his career in Europe.
Per multiple sources, Team Liquid are currently in talks with MIBR to acquire Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo – a 29-years-old Brazilian AWPer and in-game leader, who has been inactive since September. Should FalleN join Team Liquid, it would be the first non-Brazilian team in his 15-years career.
