Zai Leaves Secret to Join Liquid
Team Secret have announced that Ludwig "zai" Wåhlberg is no longer part of their Dota 2 roster. The team has not revealed his replacement for the upcoming season. Zai played for Team Secret for last three years and helped the team to place 3rd at The International 2021.
On his Twitter page, Zai has announced that he joined Team Liquid. Although the organization confirmed his signing, they have not announced any other roster changes. Earlier Zai played both as an offlaner and a support, so his position in the team remains unknown.
Team Liquid have been playing without a single roster changes for two years. This year they competed in the Upper Bracket of the European Dota Pro Circuit, placing 4th in the first season and 2nd in the second one. Their performance on the majors was lackluster, as they finished 9 – 12th at ONE Esports Singapore Major and 13th at WePlay AniMajor. Later the team also failed to qualify for The International 10, placing 4th in the qualifier after their loss to Nigma.
