ZywOo to Stay in Team Vitality until 2025

The French organization Team Vitality has announced that their contract with Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut was extended to the end of 2024. Although the extension happed earlier this year, the information became public only yesterday, when the team was done for this season.

20-years-old ZywOo has been playing for Vitality for two years already – with him the team has become one of the strongest in the world and won multiple events, including EPICENTER 2019, BLAST Premier: Fall 2020 and ECS 7 – Finals. ZywOo has been one of the main drivers of this success – he has a 1.32 rating with 0.83 kills per round and became the hltv’s MVP of 2019.

The last few months have been extremely successful for the team – they managed to win BLAST Premier: fall 2020 Regular Season, IEM XV – Beijing Online and BLAST Premier: Fall 2020. However, last week they failed to make it out of the group stage at IEM XV – Global Challenge and placed 5-6th.
